The fund invests mostly in investment grade companies with only 10% permitted in high yield. We invest mainly in Australia, but also improve the diversification of the fund by holding bonds in industries and companies based abroad. Why invest in the fund? Potential for a total return above that of government bondsBy investing in corporate bonds, there is the potential for greater total returns (primarily income but also some capital growth) than that achieved by investing in government bonds. Highly diversified portfolio helps to minimise riskWe invest in a range of industrials such as financials, utilities and telecommunication providers within the corporate bond market. With more than 100 securities typically held at any one time, this helps us minimise risk and broaden the opportunity set. Competitive edge in accessing compelling investment opportunitiesWith over 40 years’ presence in the fixed income market, our scale, brand and relationships give us a competitive edge in deal sourcing. This allows us to find well priced opportunities locally and offshore. Regular monthly incomeProvides regular monthly distributions. What are the key risks? The key risks of the fund relate to interest rates and credit. Prospective investors should refer to the Product Disclosure Statement and consider factors relating to investment risks. As a result of risk factors, as well as other risks inherent in any investment, an investment in the fund is not appropriate for all investors. There can be no assurance that the fund will meet its investment objective or that investors will receive a return of their capital. Prospective investors should consult with their own advisors before deciding to invest in the fund.
