Adding quality commercial properties to your portfolio is a great way to diversify and receive regular income. But usually you need to be a large institutional investor to do so. With the AMP Capital Wholesale Australian Property Fund, you can invest in a diversified portfolio of quality Australian office, retail and industrial properties. The Fund aims to provide stable returns, made up primarily of income with some long-term capital growth. It targets assets which have high occupancy rates and stable income streams underpinned by leases to long-term, secure commercial tenants.
The Fund's risk level is based on the estimated number of negative annual returns for the Fund over any 20 year period and is not a complete assessment of the risks of investing in the Fund. For instance it does not detail what the size of a negative return could be or the potential for a positive return to be less than an investor may require to meet their objectives. Consequently, before choosing to invest or reinvest in the Fund, you should read the Fund's PDS and incorporated information and consider factors such as the likely investment return, the risks of investing and your investment time frame. Information about the methodology used for calculating the risk level is available here.
A Significant Investor Visa approved Fund
The implementation of the Significant Investor Visa (SIV) on 24 November 2012 by the Australian Federal Government is an exciting opportunity for people looking to migrate to Australia.
The new legislation allows high net worth investors to apply for permanent residency in Australia by investing $5 million Australian dollars into investments that meet the new SIV guidelines. Successful applicants will be granted a number of concessions including waiver for upper age limit and points test and a reduced residency requirement of 160 days over a four year period.
N.B. The Wholesale Australian Property Fund (WAPF) is replaced by the Australian Property Fund (APF) as the SIV approved fund for new investors. Please click here to visit the APF page.
